Clients and Carriers
MEGA TRANS LOGISTIC provides customized services in the field of domestic and international freight transport, anywhere in the world, as well as related services such as customs services, warehousing and handling, and specific consultancy. Our specialty is international and domestic road freight transport. To ensure high-quality services, we enter into agreements with both clients who request our services and those who actually ensure the collection and delivery of goods (carriers). In this regard, we process the personal data of individuals representing the client/potential client, as well as those of our partners’ representatives. In certain situations, we may have access to information that is either publicly available regarding our potential clients or received directly from persons interested in our services. Additionally, to fulfill certain financial-accounting, tax, or other obligations to authorities, we may process personal data of individuals—representatives of partner companies or clients.
Suppliers
For the purpose of conducting our business, MEGA TRANS LOGISTIC enters into contractual agreements with various service and utility providers that enable us to carry out our daily activities under optimal and safe conditions. In this regard, we have internet providers, utility providers, telecommunications, database administration, etc. In these cases, we process the personal data of individuals representing the supplier in the relationship with MEGA TRANS LOGISTIC.

What are the legitimate grounds for data processing?
We may process personal data based on the consent of the individual when they access our website, either to discover our service offering or to contact us. All our employees must comply with specific obligations and not disclose or unlawfully use confidential information, including personal information. In some cases, we are required to provide, for example, information to public authorities, such as tax authorities. We also transmit personal data to authorities and judicial bodies if we are required to do so by a legal provision of these entities.

Do we transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area?
We store personal data on servers located in Romania. It is unlikely that MEGA TRANS LOGISTIC will transfer personal data to other companies in the EU or outside the European Economic Area. However, if such transfers were necessary, MEGA TRANS LOGISTIC would be prepared to ensure, through the measures and technical solutions implemented, an adequate level of protection for individuals, similar to that offered by European legislation.
